230 Fifth, Home Furnishings Tenants Prep for N.Y. Gift Fair

In line with the upcoming NY Gift Show in last January, home furnishings showroom hub 230 Fifth Avenue MarketCenter is hosting its own showcase of new products and retailer perks.
Additionally, 230's management will offer buyers and visitors access to a buyers' lounge in the building lobby and will equip it with complimentary work stations, wireless internet, snacks and coffee as well as free shuttle service from the building to the gift fair at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Midtown, among other amenities.
Several 230 showrooms will be open with new products on display. Home textiles participants include:
Colomba Living, which is now represented by the Euroletto Linens & Home showroom in Lobby Suite 10. The company will showcase its collection of high-end natural-fiber home textiles made of linen, cotton, silk and wool. Categories of goods include bedding, bath, tabletop, home accessories and loungewear.Empress Home, in suite 1800, which will introduce a new luxury line of blankets and throws woven of pure wool, cashmere, silk or bamboo. These items come as plush or jacquard woven, yarn dyed blankets and throws.Famous Home Fashions, located in suite 1312, which will unveil its new Biarritz collection of shower curtains, bath accessories, towels and bath mat. The Biarritz collection features delicately detailed highlights of silver and platinum mixed with warm, neutral tones.Greenhorn Trading Company, also now recently a part of the Euroletto Linens & Home showroom in Lobby Suite 10, will debut its Scottish Cashmere collection of throws, and will also present for the first time new baby, bedding, kitchen, bath and tabletop products.Manhattan Kids, located in suite 1216, is showing its Luxury Plush baby blankets collection, which is available in youthful patterns and is made from 100% polyester.Microtex, in Lobby suite 6, is the licensee of Royal Velvet, Waverly and David Rodriguez Home. For 2010, the company will introduce a new collection of blankets, throws and robes available in an array of colors and fabrics.Zambaiti USA, in suite 1912, will launch its Four Seasons Blanket, which is made in Italy with fine wool and features whip-stitched detail on all sides.
