ShopKo taps two for vp

Green Bay, WI — ShopKo Stores has promoted Thomas Abbott to vp, product development and trend services, and Kathy Friedland-Howard to vp, advertising, for the company's ShopKo division.
Abbott assumes responsibility for merchandise sourcing and maintaining merchandise quality and manufacturing standards, as well as providing brand and trend direction. In addition to her previous responsibilities overseeing all aspects of ShopKo's print advertising, Friedland-Howard assumes responsibility for advertising operations, broadcast advertising, consumer research and e-commerce.
