Scoperta-Proposte link to improve

Rho, Italy – Trade Link Company has announced that Scoperta 2008 will take place at in Hall 16 at the Fiera Milano here from May 6-8, giving show attendees an opportunity to visit before Proposte begins May 7 in Cernobbio.

Despite some talk that Scoperta might move closer to Cernobbio, fair organizers determined Fiera Milano to be a more suitable location.

“I appreciate that the travel time between the Fiera Milano and Cernobbio is not ideal, but we are working hard to provide an improved, fast and efficient transportation system,” said Bill Davis, Scoperta organizer. Scoperta will transport buyers between locations (in both directions) using chauffeur-driven Mercedes limousines and minibuses so they can continue their business en route.

“Time will be immaterial,” he added.

The show will introduce two new sections this year, as well as expand its wallcoverings presentation.

The Crystal Ball will display interior trends for fall 2008 through the use of lasers and color images. The show runs 15 to 20 minutes. Viva, another new feature, will be a special zone for quality read-made collections, including cushions/pillows, bed linens, table linens and kitchen linens.
