CHF Debuts Kim Parker Kids

New York — At the upcoming Mini Market, CHF Industries will debut Kim Parker Kids, an extension of its upscale print bedding line featuring a new interpretation of the artist's designs for young girls ages five to 15.

The new juvenile line will be printed on 100 percent cotton and feature a mix of pattern and color inspired by Parker's newly released children's book, “Counting in the Garden.” The book is written and illustrated by Parker.

Two styles kick off the collection: Butterfly Dreams and Ladybug Garden. Butterfly Dreams is an intricate butterfly design in tones of purple with flowers and ladybugs that reverses to a tightly packed floral in hot colors. Ladybug Garden features a neutral ground with a coral pink story of tossed flowers and ladybugs. This design reverses to a small compact floral on a pink ground and has an engineered sheet with printed border. Both patterns will have a hand-done, crafty feel.

“We are providing an upgraded base cloth for her designs in juvenile,” added Joan Karron, CHF's executive vice president. “The strategy here is as the interest and attention has been focused on trading up with all cotton for adults, our conviction is that retailers will embrace the notion that parents want the same quality level for their kids.”

In addition, two to three new patterns will be offered in adult Kim Parker bedding.
