Mount Vernon Mills relocates headquarters, leaves N.C. for S.C.

Fabric producer Mount Vernon Mills has relocated its headquarters office building from downtown Greenville, N.C., to a new 24,000-square-foot colonial style building here.
The building is also home for the company's Information Technology Group, previously headquartered in Sandy Springs, S.C.
Roger Chastain, Mount Vernon president and chief operating officer, commented, "The building is a perfect fit for our needs. We will have a staff of 87 at the new location."
