Hollander Names Landers to Merchandising Post

Hollander Home Fashions, a leading, privately-held North American basic bedding supplier, has announced the appointment of Tim Landers as vice president serving as business manager for mattress pads and comforters. In his new position, which is effective immediately, Landers will report directly to chief merchandising officer Beth Mack.

Landers’ responsibilities will include developing and implementing merchandising strategies aimed at creating innovative products that will increase sales for our customers and provide long-term sustainable growth for Hollander.

“Tim brings to Hollander Home Fashions nearly two decades of in-depth experience in the textile and retail industry,” said Mack.

Hollander Home Fashions ceo Chris Baker said, “Tim Landers’ extensive knowledge of textile-specific buying, sales, sales management, marketing, and product management make him the perfect fit for this position. We are excited to welcome him to the Hollander team.”

Landers entered the retail world straight out of college as an assistant buyer at May Company Department Stores. He then spent more than 15 years at Springs Global where he held a series of increasingly demanding roles in both sales and management that culminated in the position of vp of merchandising for the company’s bedding business. Over the past two years, Landers has served as the North American sales director for Welspun USA’s fashion and basic bedding division.
