Louisville Bedding Makes Organizational Changes

Louisville, Ky. — Louisville Bedding Company has made a series of organizational changes, including naming Steve Elias CEO and appointing Steve Thompson vice president of operations.
In addition, Patricia Rudavsky has been promoted to director of sales and merchandising for the nonwoven and contract sales division.
David Roshberg has been named director of sales and merchandising for the bedding division and will now focus on growing the company's presence in the marketplace.
And Tom Perrino has been promoted to the position of director of product, demand planning and forecasting.
Elias has been associated with Louisville since 1982 and served as president since April 2004.
During Elias' tenure, he has held the positions of vice president of sales and marketing and was a member of the company's sales force handling its Wal-Mart account.
Thompson is a 25-year veteran of the company and has held a variety of engineering and plant management positions at each of the Kentucky facilities.
He reports to Elias and replaces Damon Shuman, who recently retired.
Rudavsky will focus on building the company's new bedding components lines, including commercial batting, sidewalls, etc. She also reports to Elias.
Roshberg will continue to report to Al Farias, vice president of sales and marketing.
In Perrino's expanded role, he will maintain responsibility for the mattress pad and bed pillow lines while overseeing the company's forecasting and advertising initiatives. He reports to Farias.
