Revere brings Aussie, Memphis fibers to towel line

At the New York Market - Revere Mills looked to the other side of the world as well as its own back yard to create unique offerings in bath towels for this market.
Bramble is the company's bath ensemble made of Australian yarn - a long-staple cotton that is "very soft and very absorbent," noted Elaine Aschenbrand, director of marketing and product development.
"We're trying to do new things, and this new yarn from Australia has great features," she elaborated.
The collection is made by Revere at its Pakistan-based facilities. Introduced in a palette of eight colors, these towels are set to retail for $5.99 for a 30-by-52 inch bath size.
Revere gets to the heart of Dixie with a new collection called just that - Dixie. Made of a special cotton yarn grown in Memphis, Tenn., the towels are also made in Pakistan by Revere and come in eight colors for the launch.
"This cotton yarn is known for its consistent quality and the quality of fiber it produces - soft and absorbent," Aschenbrand said.
A 30-by-54 bath size is set to retail for $6.99.
In the kitchen textiles category, new pre-packs make up the latest offering from Revere.
Revere has added a five-piece set that includes three printed and two solid kitchen towels for $9.99 retail; three-piece kitchen towel and four-piece dishcloth sets, both in a popcorn-texture and featuring a border stripe, for $4.99 each; and a flat-woven two-pack set in solid colors for $4.99.
