George moves up ranks at Gilt into Home

New York - Online shopping flash retailer Gilt has promoted Keith George to the role of svp, men's and home, effective immediately.

He was previously general manager of Gilt's men's business.

In his new position, the company said George is responsible for driving revenue and innovation through a cross-functional team of merchandising, marketing, technology, operations, and creative professionals. He reports to ceo Michelle Peluso.

Prior to joining Gilt, George's career included retail and operations experience with Gap Inc., Coca-Cola Enterprises, UPS, and Ernst & Young.
