Kohl's promotes four top execs

Menomonee Falls, Wis. - Kohl's has promoted four executives to new posts.
Don Brennan is the company's new chief merchandising officer, John Worthington is now chief administrative officer, Peggy Eskenasi has been named senior executive vp, and Wes McDonald is the new senior executive vp and cfo.

Brennan, a 28-year retail industry veteran, was most recently senior executive vice president, a post he held since September 2007. He has been with Kohl's since 2001, progressively climbing the ranks. As chief merchandising officer, he is responsible for oversight of all merchandising divisions, merchandise planning and allocation, and e-commerce. In his new role he also assumes management responsibility for product development, which previously reported to Mansell.
Formerly senior executive vice president since September 2007, Worthington now is charged with overseeing store operations, store administration, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, real estate, and information services. Throughout his 17-year career with Kohl's, he has held a variety of positions, including: executive vice president, director of stores from 2005 to September 2007; senior vice president of stores from 2004 to 2005; and vice president, regional manager from 2002 to 2004.
Eskenasi is being promoted from her prior post as executive vice president of product development, which she held since October 2004. She is a 32-year retail veteran, having served earlier in her career as president of private label brand development for Saks Inc. and vice president-general manager for Frederick Atkins.
McDonald, a 22-year retail industry veteran, has served as executive vice president, chief financial officer since August 2003. Before joining Kohl's, he served as vice president, chief financial officer of Abercrombie & Fitch. And from 1988 to 2000, he held a variety of management positions with Target Corporation, most recently as director, information systems finance and administration.
