Karsten shuffles executive roles

NEW YORK — Karsten America this week shifted the responsibilities of Darlan Hirtenkauf to chief operating officer from chief financial officer, said Joao Karsten Neto, vice president.

He said the company recently restructured its top executive team, partly due to the recent departure of John Cafaro as chief marketing officer. Cafaro left Karsten America late last week to become the chief operating officer of Loftex.

Hirtenkauf reports to Karsten Neto.
