Mohawk Home Launches Woolrich Rugs

Woolrich, Raymond Waites and the great outdoors.
These are the three headlining themes at Mohawk Home this market in the area and accent rug category.
Woolrich takes center stage as Mohawk officially launches this brand into its portfolio, with several new types of rugs styles.
There are 22 designs in a woven construction, and all feature a new palette. A 5-by-8 is priced at $299.
A group of 14 designs in nylon make up the new printed scatter offerings in this brand launch. Price points are still being set.
And four outdoor flat-woven polypropylene rugs donning the Woolrich label can retail for $79 for a 5-by-8.
Mohawk is "reinvesting," said vp, sales Jim Quist, in its long-standing designer line by Raymond Waites, with 12 new patterns in a new palette created for the line. These woven synthetic styles are priced at $299 for a 5-by-8.
Also new for the Waites line are two new collections — Pembroke, a new 10-color product available in 40 new designs that employ the new palette; and Coronado, available in 10 new patterns in the new color schemes.
Finally, the outdoor rug category "continues to be a major focus for us," Quist said.
There are 20 new domestically-made, flat-woven polypropylene designs in various colors now available and priced at $79 for a 5-by-8.
The tufted category is not forgotten this market, either. More on the outdoor theme, there are 12 new outdoor patterns that priced in line with their flat-woven siblings.
Five new solid colored styles are being added to the tufted Fiesta collection.
And three new tufted collections in accent sizes are: Softscapes, a solid-colored olefin group; Treasures, a space-dyed yarn construction; and Sutton Place, an ultra heavyweight patterned solid.
And lastly, for the tweener market, there is a new collection of printed rugs in the Fiesta colorways.
