Thomasville president Nancy Webster resigns  

St. Louis – Nancy Webster, president of the Thomasville Furniture Inds. division of Furniture Brands Intl. has resigned from the company, effective immediately.

Webster, a longtime home textiles executive, joined Thomasville two years ago. Prior to that she headed the home furnishings product design and development group at Target as vp trend design & corp. Previously, she spent five years at Springs Industries, rising to senior vp of creative development. She had earlier been design director at Fieldcrest Cannon Inc.

Edward Teplitz, who headed the retail division of Ethan Allen, has been named to succeed her at Thomasville.
