Gindi readies new showroom for NY Market

New York — Gindi Imports has doubled its showroom and office space at 303 Fifth Ave here to better show its new bedding division and expanded freestanding window offerings.

The curtain and table linens company has been doing bedding business for the past two years, primarily targeting the catalog channel. However, the company now intends to broaden its retail distribution, said Nathan Gindi, vp.

New bedding constructions will include jacquards, embroidered voiles and poly silk designs sold either in comforter sets or in open stock. Coordinate offerings will include dust ruffles, shams and window treatments.

The expanded free-standing window products will include more printed voiles, printed sheers and crushed sheers along with Gindi's regular line of shower curtains and kitchen tiers.
