Biddeford opens new manufacturing facility

Biddeford, ME — Biddeford Blankets recently completed the move from its century-old manufacturing plant on the Saco River to a new state-of-the-art facility here.
The new building was officially opened after the Microlife management team (the new owners of Biddeford Blankets, previously Biddeford Textiles) performed a feng shui ceremony to ensure financial prosperity.
The new plant is designed to feature streamlined efficiency and the combined efforts of Biddeford Blankets and the Taiwan-based Microlife Corp.
ShopKo fashions new Urbanology shop
Green Bay, WI — With designs on appealing to fashion-conscious Generation Y consumers, ShopKo is debuting an Urbanology shop emphasizing fashion accessories and home furnishings.
The shop-within-a-shop concept is stocked with mini-purses and denim bags, bright-colored backpacks, colorful toe socks, fashion jewelry, slippers and sleepwear, glitter CD stands, neon wall clocks, candles and furry pillows. New items will be introduced into the shop throughout the year.
