NY Home Textiles Show Joins 'At Home'
Home & Textiles Today Staff -- Home Textiles Today, March 12, 2007
Beginning with the Aug. 11-15 edition, The New York Home Textiles Show will be integrated with the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) division "At Home," with exhibitors at the Jacob Javits Convention Center and Pier 94.
The producer of the events, George Little Management (GLM), said luxury suppliers like Missoni Home, BlissLiving Home, Lucinda Lee, Marlo Lorenz, and Shades of India will relocate from the Metropolitan Pavilion. At Home already features a number of such vendors, including Anali, Fino Lino, Sferra, Legacy Home, Peacock Alley, Traditions, Ogallala, Libeco, and Versai.
"By repositioning New York Home Textiles Show exhibitors within At Home and reorganizing the division's existing high-end home textiles suppliers, we can expand the market's depth and breadth of luxury, high-end home fashions," said Dorothy Belshaw, GLM senior vp and NYIGF director.
GLM projects more than 200 high-end home textile exhibitors in At Home by 2009. Offerings will expand to additional bed and bath fashions, table linens, kitchen textiles, towels, area rugs, window treatments, and decorative fabrics.
