Cotton Inc. launches Global Product Supply Chain

Cary, N.C. – Cotton Inc. will integrate four departments into a new division, Global Product Supply Chain, to be led by Mark Messura, who has been promoted to executive vp. The four units being melded are: Textile Research, Global Product Marketing, Fashion Marketing and Strategic Planning.
Messura was previously vp strategic planning; beyond his Cotton Inc. duties he also continues to serve as vice chairman of the International Forum for Cotton Promotion.
Cotton Inc. president and ceo J. Berrye Worsham said, “We need to better link and prioritize the research developments with the worldwide implementation of those services. Bringing it all under one division will help us do that. Mark’s experience in strategic planning makes him uniquely qualified for this position.”
