Arlee expands energy-saver blackout soft window line

At the New York Market – Based on the success of the launch last market of its then-new Blackout curtains, Arlee Home Fashions has doubled the number of offerings in this category to meet retailers’ demands.
Melange is a lightweight, and more sharply priced, offering that is 99.8% effective in blocking out light. It is set to retail at $9.99.
Allendale is a solid colored group in four colors. It is priced at $19.99.
Wilshire is an embossed design on a lightweight fabric. It’s a $14.99 product.
Whisper is a silky cloth that Arlee decided to enhance with a blackout backing. Tuscan is a jacquard style that has been expanded with new patterns.
Speckle is being built up with four colors. Hopsack is being expanded with four new colors.
And Haven is a menswear fabric in four colors.
In the dec pillow category, the company has added a broader assortment of larger pieces, or 20-inch squares, to appeal to warehouse club shoppers.
And in its popular chair pad category, Arlee is now splitting its designs into two groups and price brackets – promotionally-priced offerings for the kitchen, and dressier and higher-ticket looks for the dining room.
More two-pack sets of these are also available.
