Surya paints Pantone's Radiant Orchid across all categories

Retail Editor 2, Jeff Linville, December 11, 2013

Calhoun, Ga. - Surya is heading to the January markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas with a bevy of new products all painted with a brush of Pantone's new Color of the Year - Radiant Orchid.

Surya is building on the story by adding complementing colorways, such as violets, fuchsias, and lavender and mauve.

""These hues are not only very inviting to the eye but also contain absorbing undertones that reveal themselves differently depending on proximity to other colors and subtle changes in light," said Lynne Meredith, vice president of product development.

Surya plans to pair the palette with complementary colors including olive and teal, as well as neutrals such as grays, taupes and beiges, she said.

Surya will showcase hundreds of rugs, pillows, throws and other home accessories the Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas winter markets.
