Trademark Productions Debuts Jamie Oliver Line

NEW YORK - Trademark Productions unveiled a line of kitchen textiles and table linens carrying the brand of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver during the New York Home Fashions Market last month.
For major retail accounts TPI has partnered with 1888 Mills for U.S. distribution. For other accounts such as supermarkets and separtment stores, TPI will use its own sales team.
In Canada, Dophes Ltd. (a division of J & A Aziz Ltd.) has the exclusive license for Jamie Oliver, and its greatest distribution is with Sobey's, one of Canada's leading supermarket chains. Their promotional partnership will run throughout 2014. Dophes Ltd. has several more promotions planned with other retailers launching in early 2014.
Trademark Productions Inc. is also a division of J&A Aziz Ltd. The Aziz family traces its Toronto to 1895 when a 19 year-old immigrant from Lebanon arrived to pursue the Yukon Gold Rush. As the young Aziz had no money, he convinced the Bradshaw Co. to give him $500 in merchandise that he could sell on the way to the Yukon.
"He called on every farm house on the way and by the time he was only 100 miles along the journey he had sold it all and made a profit of $500. Realizing that real gold was to be earned in Toronto he headed back, paid off his loan to Bradshaw and never looked back," according current company president, Joseph Aziz.
"Now under fourth-generation family management and with new licensing partnerships, Dophes Ltd. and TPI see tremendous growth ahead," he added.
