Tulsa, Okla. - Imax Corporation has announced a licensing agreement with designer Iffat Khan. The collection, Ikhan - Iffat Khan for Imax, will include high quality pillows and home accessories. The new products will debut at the Atlanta Gift & Home Furnishings Market, to be held Jan. 9-16.
"We are extremely excited about our newest collaboration," said Rex Yoakley, VP of sales for Imax. "Iffat not only brings style and design to the table, but a wealth of experience and industry knowledge."
Inspired by Khan's extensive design background and her global travels, the debut collection will comprise around 50 designs which combine clean modern, classic casual and timeless traditional styles with her own creative twist. The majority of the Ikhan products being introduced are down insert accent pillows, which feature high quality materials such as linen and silk, and hand crafted details like hand beading and heavy embroidery.
As a child, Khan grew up surrounded by the jute and textiles of her family's business. She received her BFA from Otis College of Design and went on to work with such names as Waverly, Field Crest at Target, Ty Pennington for Sears, Ralph Lauren for Nostalgia Home Fashions, Zara Home, Classic Concepts for Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel and ZGallerie.
Khan will be available in Imax's Atlanta showroom Jan. 9-11.
