Cincinnati - Macy's Inc. plans to hire roughly 65,000 seasonal associates in its stores, call centers, distribution centers and online fulfillment centers for the 2010 holiday season, a small increase from the norm.
The company expects same-store sales increases of 3.0% to 3.5% in the second half of the fiscal year.
Most of the positions are part-time, and many are slated to work evenings, weekends or overnight.
