Phoenix Home Moves into New Showroom
February 22, 2010,
Phoenix Home Fashions has opened its new showroom in the 7 West 34th street building ahead of the New York Home Fashions Market, which begins March 8.
“With our new and larger showroom space, we are now positioned to offer the market a wider range of designs and product classifications,” said Bill Spencer, vp of sales and marketing.
The space is set up to hold 20 or more complete beds, and has fixtures to display the company’s line of window treatments and decorative pillows. The work room will also be used for product development meetings between markets. Phoenix Home Fashions president Jimmy Wu said the new spot will allow the company to showcase its larger offering of home textiles, adding the company is “on a path for continued success.”
“We wanted to offer our customers and design team a private area in the showroom large enough to work through the large number of development samples, swatches, and design boards we offer,” said Chanaa Smith, product development manager. “There are lots of windows to provide natural light in the space, supplemented with track lighting to make it easier to select colors and designs.”
Phoenix Home Fashions will host a grand opening party March 8 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
