Peking debuts Gracey Knight line

Peking Handicraft introduced its first Gracey Knight Ltd. line in a variety of designs and items for the Christmas season.

Needlepoint stockings and pillows, hand-hooked rugs, guest towels, cocktail napkins, table runners and hand towels are all adorned with designs reminiscent of Christmas and are done in reds and greens.

All of the designs are the work of artist Katharine Gracey, who creates the designs out of her Napa Valley, CA, studio, through her company Gracey Knight, which has made a name for itself with its line of adult and children's furniture.

Santa's Horn, Sleigh Bell Elf, Christmas Reindeer and Christmas Jester are done on the 100 percent wool, handmade or hand-hooked products. Wholesale prices range from $15 for a needlepoint stocking to $48 for a set of 12 guest towels.

Also in the works are four new collections — Terra Bella Topiary, Pansy, Lavender and Citron — all of which are scheduled to be introduced during the October High Point Market. Needlepoint and hook rugs as well as needlepoint pillows will be part of these collections.

Terra Bella Topiary will feature blue, white and gold, while Pansy will use soft sea-foam green, butterscotch yellow, purple and yellow in its designs. Lavender will utilize a central design of three bouquets with off-white, lavender, green and butterscotch yellow. Lemons will be the main focus of Citron, which will feature yellow, green, black and white colorways.
