Nourison launches Nourtex value division

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Nourison has created a new division, Nourtex, for coordinated assortments of value-oriented broadloom and area rugs, debuting this month at the various floor covering markets.
Nourtex offers designer styling and luxury construction enhancements at affordable price points. To achieve this, the company developed specially blended proprietary yarn systems that enable its Nourtex assortments to capture a similar feel and performance characteristics of better wool products.
"Our Nourtex division will combine [our] expertise and creative insight with the most advanced production technologies, to create a range of coordinated products previously unavailable in the mainstream market," said Alex Peykar, principal of Nourison.
