EWHT Plans Seminar

During New York Home Fashions Market, Executives Working in Home Textiles will hold a seminar/social at 7 W. 34th Street, and certification specialist Allery Standards Limited with the Asthma and Allery Foundation of America will hold demonstrations.
EWHT's seminar will feature Catherine Westover, president of executive search firm Westover & Associates. She will discuss “job searching when you don't need a job.”
Her presentation will be followed by networking and light refreshments. The event takes place Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Suite 729. For information or to RSVP, email infoEWHT@yahoo.com or visit www.ewht.com.
ASL and AAFA will run certification program demonstrations every day of the market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Suite 620.
The project is intended to demonstrate the impact on retailers of carrying products that make misleading claims as well as how certified products are designed. No registration is necessary.
7 W also announced several temporary exhibitors that will showing at the building during market. They include: Bashian Rugs, CMN International, Dawson Home Group, by EM, Eurofro International Trading, Indo Count Industries, International Merchandise Sources, Nanshing America, Paliwal Exports, Phoenix Home Fashion, Pradip Overseas, Regence Home, Sleepwell, and United Weavers of America.
New permanent exhibitors include: Anchor Home Products, a kitchen and table coordinate supplier; Apache Mills, which makes doormats from recycled materials; M & Z Marketing Group, which produces fashion and utility bedding, rugs and door mats; Colomba Living, maker of apparel, bedding and bath; and Two Lumps of Sugar, which offers kitchen textiles along with décor and tableware.
