IFDA gathering to revisit winter market trends

NEW YORK — The New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association will host a review of the January 2004 trade shows on March 11 in the New York Gift Building, 225 Fifth Ave.

Designer Patter Bouley, of Bouley Design Inc., will share trends displayed at the Maison & Objet show held in Paris. Deb Barrett, contributing editor of Window Fashions and Window Fashions Certification Program, will cover the Heimtextil international home textiles show held in Frankfurt. Quinn Halford, editor-in-chief of Gifts and Decorative Accessories magazine (a sister publication to HTT), will discuss the New York International Gift Fair.

Breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by the program at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $20 for members, $30 for guests and $5 for students. Payment by cash, check or credit card will be accepted at the event. For reservations, contact IFDA-NY at 212-686-6020 or ifdanyny@worldnet.att.net.
