Cotton Inc. joins the big parade

New York – Flaunting the new “Natural” trademark, the Bountiful Harvest Cornucopia float sponsored by Cotton Incorporated will take part in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The float will feature “The Fabric of Our Lives” Cotton Inc. theme music. Also accompanying the float, the Cherokee Nation Youth Choir dressed in traditional Tear cotton attire -- garments named for the act of tearing the fabric by hand instead of using scissors -- will be performing “Jingle Bells” in the Cherokee language.

The promotion will spread through the streets of Manhattan, as Cotton Inc. street teams will be distributing cotton flannel ear warmers to spectators headed to the parade. Hangtags will provide information on how to enter The Fabric of Our Lives - Cotton. Your Natural Choice for the Holidays Sweepstakes for a chance to win a Macy's gift card. “To participate in such an iconic American experience such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was a natural choice, as cotton is America's favorite natural fiber,” said Paula Rosario, vp, consumer marketing - strategic alliances, Cotton Inc.
