Exciting Window's Shay achieves $1 million in sales in 2012

Sarasota, Fla. -- Exciting Windows! by Blinds Unlimited's Jane Shay accrued $1 million in sales this year, more than doubling her sales from prior years.
The achievement is especially noteworthy, the company said, in that Shay made these high sales "in only two years after finding her ideal business location" and "considering the Florida West Coast's devastating loss of home values and condo sales in the past four years."
Shay also serves as chairperson of the Exciting Windows! national advisory council.
"I understand business and have a great marriage to a production and operations expert," Shay explained. "Greg has worked with me in developing strategic and tactical areas for us to grow as a team. I also credit my affiliation with Exciting Windows! Their training, marketing, and management support, especially with other successful members, has been a great asset."
She added that the "funny thing is, I was a member for over a year before I really ‘got it', and saw how I could attract better customers with a high income by using their systems and philosophy. One of the most important impacts was to move beyond blinds into draperies and soft products. Fabrics attract better customers and builds strong referrals. Best of all, it increases the bottom line dramatically. Other blinds dealers told me there were too many problems. Exciting Windows! made it comparatively simple, and showed how to improve business and profits with soft products."
