European mfg rep adds to staff

Ellen Letchinger Distinctive Textiles has rounded out its national sales agent team representing four European decorative textiles mills in the United States.

Porter Di Piro, a veteran decorative fabrics executive, and Bob and Judy Romanik, 25-year multi-line fabric vets, represent the company on the West Coast. Mark Smith, an independent agent, is the company's agent in the Southeast. Niti Agarwal, a design and textile professional originally from India, is the firm's agent in the metro New York market.

Ellen Letchinger Distinctive Textiles represents Yebane of Spain, a decorative and upholstery fabric company with an in-stock program; Boller Winkler of Switzerland, a producer of high-end drapery and sheer fabrics of Trevira CS and polyester/silk blends; Germany's Pippig & Reichel, an upholstery and decorative fabric producer and Clerion of Italy, a multi-purpose and drapery fabric producer.

The mills ship direct from their facilities in Europe to U.S.-based customers.
