Milli Home spices up its palette

The fall season is all about color at Milli Home, which recently unveiled its newest collections of dec pillows, table linens and bedding. Chocolate, pomegranate, paprika, copper, garnet and plum warm such fabrics as tweed, velvet, silk and brocades.

Some of Milli Home's new pillow collections include its Solid Texture group featuring a pintuck pillow, basketweave design, an urban stripe and a cotton-velvet-sateen stripe.

Its Barcelona group has seven designs, including reversible-textured jacquards with chenille accents and zigzag or peacock wovens, each offered in three colorways.

Its Tweed group has a tweed pillow with corner tassels in four colorways and a knit pillow with zigzag design on one side, stripes on the other, and braided cable trim in four colors.

Other pillow collections include Botanical Velvet, Tuxedo, Milano, Romantics, Pashmina, Color Block, Devonshire and Obe.

Botanical Velvet features an embroidered center panel in silk dupioni, accented and backed with velvet cotton and cording, as well as a crisscross variety.

The Tuxedo collection has a graphic look with all-over florals in either beadwork or embroidery; some have beaded edges, others sequin accents. There's also a smocked-velvet design with satin back and beaded trim all around in seven colors.

Inspired by fashion apparel, the Milano group offers all-over modern beaded pillows with satin backs for an updated look on traditional Indian design. The collection also offers a velvet pillow with satin lacing and brass hardware, as well as a boudoir look with metallic crochet overlay featuring amethyst-like beadwork.

The Romantics group is very Indian looking with delicate embroidery and tiny beaded sequins on silk taffeta. In addition to decorative pillows, the group is offered as bedding.

The Pashmina collection, which is offered as dec pillows and throws, is based on old crewel work updated in a pale four-color palette, as well as in four brighter tones. It features hand embroidery on pashmina and a delicate accent pillow with all-over seed beading and metallic details.

The Color Block group has metallic crush pillows with a satin cross or stripe and seed pearl accents in earth tones or jewel tones.

The kimono-inspired Obe collection has been brought back in mid-tone colors and is also available in bedding. It features an all-over floral embroidery look and a center-banded look with ribbon ties in the back.

Milli Home's core Devonshire collection has five pillow styles.

There is an all-silk dupioni with chenille embroidery and cross tucking that is also available in bedding. A variation of the obe pillow is also offered with golden and metallic jewelry accents and a center band with velvet details. Included are an all-over zardozee metallic work pillow, all-over ribbon scroll look, a circle pillow with raffia embroidery, and an all-over vine motif featuring accent flowers in seed pearls and beaded tassels. Additionally offered is a wheat husk pillow with chenille embroidery on silk dupioni.

In table linens, Milli Home introduced 10 to 12 different table runners and placemats. Some of the new styles include: Running Vine, the Manor collection, the Devonshire group and Color Block Stripe in jewel or earth tones.
