Ginsey expands juvenile to include new color-focused house brand, hires Stevenson

At the New York Market – Bath and kitchen product company Ginsey Industries is building on the success of its juvenile bath products with a new collection of solid-colored potty-training supplies.

Dubbed Bébé Stages, this new collection offers four different potty styles for young children – petit, on-the-floor seat, a larger seta with a lid, and the “auto potty” in the shape of a car.

The company’s core juvenile line is driven by popular licenses, including Sesame Street, Disney properties, and Nickelodeon properties.

But just as branding drives recognition to the product, the company said it found that so does color. Based on this research, the company has created Bébé Stages as a solid-colored program in bright hues –pinks, greens and others – to appeal to its toddler users. Also key are the price points – these items are set to hit a more value bracket, starting at $5.99.

In other news, Ginsey has appointed Elizabeth Stevenson as sales and marketing coordinator.

She reports to Mary Fullam, vp, marketing.

Stevenson comes to Ginsey from the sports industry. Most recently, she worked in business development for an independent professional baseball team.

She started her new stint in early August.
