White Plains , N.Y. – Beginning with the Aug. 11-15 edition, The New York Home Textiles Show will be integrated with the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) division entitled “At Home,” and the high-end home textiles resources will exhibit at the Jacob Javits Convention Center .
The producer of the events, George Little Management (GLM), noted that luxury home textiles suppliers such as Missoni Home, BlissLiving Home, Lucinda Lee, Marlo Lorenz, and Shades of India will relocate to At Home from their previous locations at the Metropolitan Pavilion. GLM said that At Home already features a number of leading vendors, such as Anali, Fino Lino, Sferra, Legacy Home, Peacock Alley, Traditions, Ogallala, Libeco, and Versai.
“By repositioning New York Home Textiles Show exhibitors within At Home and reorganizing the division’s existing high-end home textiles suppliers, we can expand the market’s depth and breadth of luxury, high-end home fashions,” said Dorothy Belshaw, GLM senior vp and NYIGF director.
Belshaw said the company projects that more than 200 high-end home textile resources will exhibit within the At Home division by 2009.
At Home , presented at both the Javits Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94, features some 470 exhibiting companies presenting a full range of home furnishings, both softlines and hardlines. With the integration of the New York Home Textiles Show into At Home, the offerings will expand to include additional bed and bath fashions, table linens, kitchen textiles, towels, decorative accessories, area rugs, window treatments, and decorative fabrics.
