Extreme Linen hires marketing exec

NEW YORK — George Firrincieli has joined Extreme Linen as executive vice president of marketing, merchandising and public relations.

Extreme Linen is the finished product offshoot of two-year-old fabric supplier JTex. The fledgling division is positioning itself as a customer-specific product-development resource for the television shopping, dot-com and national retail-chain channels.

Firrincieli was most recently divisional merchandising manager for the merchandising division of the Home Shopping Network. Jonathan Joseph is the company’s president. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Dillard’s, starting as a buyer and eventually handling product development in accessories and home furnishings. Before Dillard’s, he spent 12 years at Federated/Allied.
