Crown Crafts Signs Luxury Kelly Rightsell Brand

Crown Crafts, Inc. has signed a licensing agreement with Kelly B. Rightsell Designs, expanding its presence into luxury distribution channels for infant and juvenile bedding and accessories.

Under the agreement, Crown Crafts will produce, market and sell infant and juvenile home furnishings and accessories under the Kelly Rightsell brand.

Crown Crafts Infant Products will develop infant and juvenile bedding, blankets and room décor for the brand, while Hamco will develop bibs and bath products.

Crown Crafts will focus marketing and sales efforts on the luxury market with crib sets starting at $450 retail.

New product introductions was made at the ABC Show in Las Vegas over the past weekend.

According to Nanci Freeman, president and CEO of Crown Crafts Infant Products, the new license agreement gives the company a branded presence in the luxury market.

“With the addition ... from Kelly Rightsell, we will be able to expand our product offering to the juvenile specialty market,” said Freeman.

Brian Rightsell, president of Kelly B. Rightsell Designs, added: “By utilizing Crown Crafts' broad manufacturing resources, we will be able to greatly expand and improve our current offering of infant bedding, Moses baskets, bibs, burp clothes and blankets as well as enter new product categories including juvenile bedding, window treatments, mobiles, night lights, switch plates, diaper bags and bath items.”
