Surtex 2014 Expected to be Bigger

NEW YORK - The Surtex surfaces design show will be 10% larger next year, with 325 exhibitors showing at the Jacob K. Javits Center here next year.
     The event's artists, designers, studios, agencies and design resources will be shopping by more the 6,000 art buyers and licensees from more than 50 countries, according to show organizer GLM.
     The show, which runs from May 18-20, will include a program of 10-12 educational sessions, an on-floor Trend Theatre, design next student competition displays, and a several social networking events, all of which will be announced over the coming months.
     "Art buyers and licensees rely on Surtex to source the latest trend-forward collections to ensure successful sales of their products," says GLM Vice President and Surtex show manager Penny Sikalis. "And as added value, the show offers more than just exhibit space - it serves as a complete marketplace with valuable events and resources designed for both the exhibitor and attendee."
