FIT Will Name First Carole Sloan Scholar in June

NEW YORK - The Fashion Institute of Technoly's Home Products Development Department said gifts to the the Carole Sloan Scholarship Fund, named for HTT's late founding editor, have exceeded the $2500 needed to award the scholarship this year. He has challenged the industry to match his gift so the Carole Sloan Fund can reach its goal of at least $105,000.
Contributions to the fund, which are tax deductible, can be made to "EFFI (Educational Foundation of the Fashion Industries) On the check, note "Carole Sloan Scholar Fund" at FIT, 227 W 27th St. Room C204, New York, NY 10001.
