Natco readies handmade line

WEST WARWICK, R.I. -- Natco Home, a supplier of area and accent rugs, announced it will for the first time add handmade varieties to its line, with the launch slated for January.

The company will debut these new handmade rugs, made in India of hand-tufted wool, at its showroom at the AmericasMart during the Atlanta International Area Rug market. Not yet formally named, the handmade collection will debut with 12 designs. A 6-by-9 is set to retail for $299. "Our customers were asking us for handmade rugs," Michael Litner, president, told HTT. Natco's core line consists of heat-set synthetic rugs.
