Caesarea readies new introductions

NEW YORK — Caesarea Creations will offer new bath rug constructions during the New York Home Textiles Market, building on the introduction earlier this year of its HydroMagic rug, which employs activewear fibers to absorb more moisture and dry faster.

New to the assortment will be Edges 2 Go, a rug with detachable fancy tape as well as a second tape of a different design that the consumer can then swap out herself.

In addition, the company is adding tape borders to its solid-color cotton and synthetic rugs to give them a higher fashion quotient. Caesarea is also introducing glitter rugs in cotton and synthetic constructions that contain shiny metallic fibers. Rugs with multi-yarn effects also are new.

"We believe that while the consumer still loves the solid-color look, he or she is looking for newness in this category," said Gidi Landau, vice president of sales and marketing for the Israel-based company.
