Hunter Douglas looks to 'gather' consumers

Upper Saddle River, NJ — The second of Hunter Douglas Window Fashions' two new publications promoting the company and its products was unveiled.
'Gatherings: Your Holiday Planning Guide' is the centerpiece of the hard window covering manufacturer's four-month-long holiday program. Offered to consumers for free from August to November through retailers and via a direct mailing, the 24-page Gatherings offers recipes, party preparation pointers, decorating tips, and window decorating tips such as the importance of style, light management, energy efficiency and privacy.
Showcased throughout the publication, which is published by Meredith Integrated Marketing, are a variety of the Upper Saddle River, NJ-based window manufacturer's products, like Silhouette, Country Woods and Duette.
"Through its own innovative window coverings, Hunter Douglas, too has a part to play in celebrating the essence of light, bringing a special glow and warmth to a home," said Kim Kiner, vp, product design for Hunter Douglas.
