United Feather & Down Announces Line Extensions

Des Plaines, Ill. — United Feather & Down has announced a range of branded product launches and line extensions.
Its new Simply Natural European Wellness Collection is an upper-end product made in the U.S. of European-milled fabric. The line employs a Seacell/Tencel blended fabric, offering “a nutrient rich fabric” with calcium, magnesium, and vitamin E as well as added flexibility and softness.
Seacell also incorporates silver to create a long-lasting anti-microbial, anti-static, anti-odor effect. Simply Natural is available in pillows, comforters, and blankets with United Feather's Lyocell Down fill.
United Feather will expand its Silk Elegance collection of fashion comforters and shams, adding a silk/cotton paisley in Insignia Blue and Golden Brown; a silk/wool Vong Damask pattern in papyrus/oatmeal and maroon/Windsor wine, and a silk/linen basket-weave design in mosstone and cocoon. The line is available in down and down-alternative fills.
The company will add to its Milan Collection with Poggesi, a new line of fine Italian bed linens, top of bed, and coordinating down bedding products. New items include the 600-thread Palazzo, 400-thread Milan, and 200-thread Versilia in a wide range of colors and patterns.
The Silverluxe Collection, which blends silver threads with cotton for an anti-static, anti-odor and anti-microbial product, will now be available in white with silver threads, blue with silver threads and white with no visible silver threads.
Micromax is a new down alternative fill developed in Europe that is exclusive to United Feather and Down. The down-like fiber incorporates the latest micro denier technology and will be available in a complete collection of bedding.
The company has also expanded its collection of Face Saver anti-wrinkle pillows, adding a 300-thread cotton cover with an Aloe finish. The product can be sold with or without the Aloe pillowcase.
United Feather has also upgraded its European Elegance nano-batiste fabrication, one of the lightest down-proof fabrics in the world, according to the company. It is available in baffled box comforters and bed pillows.
