WPS taps Del Pozo for bath sourcing

WestPoint, GA — WestPoint Stevens, in an effort to further streamline its bath merchandising operations, announced that Linda Del Pozo has assumed the responsibilities for sourcing terry products and bath shop accessories.

Reporting to her are Jack Ritterman, manager for sourced products, bath, and Margaret Connolly, product manager, bath sourcing.

All three continue to be based in WestPoint’s Sixth Avenue New York offices and showroom.

“Ms. Del Pozo will be responsible for bringing a full range of sourced produced to market – significantly expanding WestPoint Stevens’ bath offerings to our customers,” said Gregory Tarver, senior vp of bath, to whom Del Pozo reports. “In her new position, she will work closely with the WestPoint Stevens global sourcing organization in Clemson, SC.”

Del Pozo joined WestPoint in 1987. She previously held the position of vp, bed merchandising from September 1999.

Ritterman has held his position since October 2001. He originally joined the company in 1998 as sourcing manager for Ralph Lauren Home.

Connolly most recently held the position of product manager, bath for Bed,Bath & Beyond. She joined the major mill in June 2000 as director of East Coast sales for department and specialty stores.
