Shaw Living to Unveil 200-Plus New Rugs in 2014

DALTON, GA. - Shaw Living is kicking off the New Year with more than 200 new rug styles that the company plans to launch at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market in January.
     The Ocean Hills collection is a new nylon color way for 2014 featuring refreshing colors, including: pale linen, neutral tan, fresh aqua, regal jade, historic indigo, clear coral, baked terra cotta, cool silver, rich brown and jet black. Designs are global inspired and each of the 60 rugs is machine woven in the USA using the company's own Ever Touch Recyclable nylon.
     Boutique will feature two more new color ways for 2014 and approximately 60 new rugs. Machine woven in the USA of heavy handed yet comfortable and soft olefin, the fiber is heavily textured and features half frieze and half straight yarns.
     Bob Timberlake braided rugs are also in the queue for debut. Designed around the artist's vision and inspiration, the 10 USA-made collections are each available in four to six colors. Constructions range from natural wool and chenille to outdoor options with color palettes designed to stay true to the antique art while coordinating with today's decor.
     Building on its popular World Market collection, Shaw is expanding the offering here with additional hand-tufted wool rugs and new designs and colors added to the Emerson, Garden Craft and Palmetto Bay groupings.
     Al Fresco, Shaw's indoor/outdoor collection, originally launched in January 2013 and made of machine woven olefin, will be energized with 12 new designs and a new color way featuring neutral beige, leaf green, vivid turquoise, tan, chocolate brown and black create a palette this is sophisticated with a pop of color with designs such as over scaled fl orals, geometrics, chevrons, and Ikat.
     Finally, Grace Bay comprises rugs that are machine woven of wool and sisal blends with cotton binding, available in neutral colors such as natural, cocoa, taupe and onyx.
