comScore: Another quarter of double-digit growth for e-commerce

Reston, Va. - Retail sales made from desktop computers jumped 13% during the third quarter - the 12 consecutive quarter of double-digit growth and the 16th consecutive quarter of positive year-over-year growth, according to comScore.
Retail spending that took place via smartphones and tablets - known as m-commerce - rose 26% to $5.8 billion during the quarter.
comScore estimated the total size of digital commerce at $53.2 billion during the period.
