Costa Mesa, Calif. - Anna's Linens has hired former Pier 1 buyer Charlie Deaton as senior buyer for decorative accessories and wall art, part of its strategy to expand its penetration in hard home.
At Pier 1, Deaton oversaw the company's multi-million dollar furniture business.
"Charlie couldn't have arrived at a better time," said Carie Doll, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Anna's Linens. "Growing our home décor offering remains a top priority and I'm confident Charlie's experience will help continue to position Anna's as a category leader."
Said Deaton, who spent more than five years at Pier 1, "Our potential is limitless."
