Calhoun, Ga. - Home furnishings and rug house Surya is set to launch an exclusive new line of rugs from the GlucksteinHome brand during this month's High Point Market.
Surya said that based on "the luxurious yet accessible design approach" of interior designer Brian Gluckstein and his product company GlucksteinHome, the new rugs "offer sophisticated and contemporary style at a mid-range price point."
The pieces feature an elegant selection of medium pile, hand-tufted wool rugs. Although the aesthetic is decidedly modern, many designs recall traditional motifs. Rendered in a palette of rich neutrals, "the collections are as much about texture as they are about color and pattern," Surya noted. "The contemporary designs showcase clean lines and refined tones along with glamorous, streamlined Art Deco references to bring timeless elegance to today's interiors."
Gluckstein said his company chose Surya as its partner for the rug program because the company's "lifestyle-focused design philosophy and commitment to offering a range of accessory options designed to inspire people within their living spaces felt like a natural fit for GlucksteinHome."
Gluckstein also designs furniture, tabletop, accessories and linens under the GlucksteinHome brand name.
"Brian Gluckstein's chic and effortless designs are a wonderful addition to Surya's product portfolio," said Satya Tiwari, president, Surya. "We are pleased to introduce to our customers this striking selection of rugs, which speaks to understated luxury and upscale appeal while emphasizing comfort and affordability."
Market attendees are invited to see this new collection and the several other new lines Surya is launching at High Point at its flagship showroom in Showplace 4100, which will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
