HauteLook ceo steps down

Retail Editor 3, Marvin Lazaro, October 3, 2013

Seattle - Adam Bernhard, founder and ceo of flash retailer HauteLook, is exiting his position with the Nordstrom-owned site but will serve as an advisor to the business.
HauteLook president Terry Boyle will oversee day-to-day operations, reporting to Jamie Nordstrom, president of Nordstrom Direct. The company said it will not appoint a new ceo for HauteLook.
Boyle joined the company in 2008 as coo/cfo.
Bernhard founded HauteLook in 2007 and sold to the department store company in March 2011.
"HauteLook is performing well - the business is growing, it's profitable, and Adam has built a strong team," said Nordstrom. "While we're sad to see Adam step out of this role, we look forward to continuing to collaborate with him as we move forward and develop additional capabilities to better serve customers."
