New York - Industry group Executives Working in Home Textiles (EWHT) announced it is supporting Global Scholar Travel for Home Products Development at the Fashion Institute of Technology for the 2012-2013 school year.
EWHT's Steering committee has donated $2,200 to the FIT Foundation, and this gift will help pay for the travel expenses for a student to attend the January 2013 Maison & Objet trade show in Paris.
EWHT has been an ongoing supporter of FIT's Home Product Development Program each year.
Explained Linda Kulla, vp of the Lenox Bath Division of Bardwil Industries and treasurer of EWHT: "The Home Products Development Program at FIT graduates the best job candidates for our industry.
