The company is also receiving good feedback from a recent ABC News special featuring it as a U.S. manufacturer. "We notice that our core retailers are really jumping at the made in the U.S. label," Hornick said. "They really understand that there are significant advantages - quality control, smaller runs if necessary. Price is really a wash." The company continues to do business overseas, but its Firefend brand is U.S.-produced.
