Down Lite Offers Terry Velvet/Suede Down Throw

Michele SanFilippo, December 13, 2004

Mason, Ohio — Down Lite International has recently developed a 50-by-70-inch microsuede down throw that reverses to terry velvet with grey duck down fill.

The company said estimated pricing on the item will be $50 to $75, based on the retailer.

The terry velvet/microsuede throw is part of Down Lite's new Essential Basics brand and comes in belly band packaging. It is available in frosted pear and ice blueberry colors.

According to Down Lite's marketing manager, Stefan Hunter, “What is different about the product is that it breaks away from the monotony of low price point, $15 to $20 down throws, which are usually in microfiber.” Hunter added that he believes it is the first terry velvet/velour-style throw on the market.
